What a travesty to close thiscentre. It has made a difference t me and so many others. West Derby isn’t all leafy and suburban, we need support too. SAVE THIS CENTRE

I am appalled to hear that there is a proposal to shut the childrens centre.
The service is vital to the community. The staff offer a valuable service with a friendly approachable staff team.
The nursery provision was able to provide affordable childcare as a working parent,
I was provided with excellent support and consistency with a highly qualifed staff team. Every Child Matters? I ask myself why is the coalition goverment cruely cutting the services in the North West.
The centre has so much to offer why penalise those neigbouring parents, and families? What is the objective of deprivation is the goverment not bringing the economy to a standstill by creating more deprivation?
My young children were adopted as a mother and father we needed information advice and guidance and that we received from the centre.
I oppose the closure and I full support the staff team.
Save the Centre from closure and allow the staff enough time to build a Business plan that will engage the community and continue to provide the services needed.
I have faith that the team will deliver with a centre coordinator that will continue to deliver leadership with the heart of the community delivering the goverments stratagies. Let the good work continue.

I was unable to attend the Parent drop in meeting due to childcare constraint.
I would like to know what the outcomes where. Can I suppport your agenda which you are to drive forward.
Can I suggest you introduce a full cost fee stratagyy for the Nursery.
can you increase you places? I beleive that the lcoal nurseries are full to capacity and that have a waiting list.
would you be able to provide statistcal evidence that demonsrtrates that there are no places available in the area. Furthermore send this information to the Liverpool City Council. Would a petition from parents, families and exr\ternal agencies who work witht he centre be beneficial?
